One of Enterprise users’
biggest disappointments regarding Ethernet services is that they are often
un-available in certain locations. This is especially problematic for
multi-site Enterprises that are geographically diverse. Delivering Ethernet
services ubiquitously requires carriers to use a variety of access technologies
such as fiber, SONET/SDH, TDM (EoT3/E3/T1/E1) and copper (EoDSL) as well as a
variety of leased services (TDM, SONET and Ethernet) to reach all of a
